Air Force Flag
A light blue ensign with the national flag in the canton and the roundel in the lower fly. I assumed that the flag would follow the other ensigns regarding the ratio.

For the Bangladesh Air Force ensign, from the photos I found athere,here andhere, the ensign is more of the 3x5 ratio of the national flag than 1x2. However, unlike the naval ensign I wrote about a few days ago, I have not been able to find any specifications regarding the flag. The other issue facing this ensign is over the roundel. What is not in dispute is the overall pattern (national flag canton, light blue flag with the roundel in the fly). The issue I am facing is the size of the roundel and the pattern. In the examples I shared, the red sun is bigger than the 1/2 green 1/2 red that we currently display [on here]. I only notice this issue on the flag.

Aircraft Markings

A note in Album des Pavillons indicates that the national flag is painted on the fin. The marking is a roundel consisting of two concentric disks, the outer green and the inner red, the inner having diameter of half the outer one.

Fin Flash
The fin flash is basically the national flag. The image atCochrane & Elliott (1998)show the red ball centered on the green.

This photo of the F-7 atGlobal Military Reviewdemonstrates this. For aircraft that is green, there is a white outline added to the standard roundel. Judging from the Antonov An-32 at PlaneSpottersthe white ring is about 1/30th of the roundel. The bigger red portion, which is used on the flag, is used on several aircraft. On this Let L-410 Turbolet atPlaneSpotters, it seems that if the main roundel is 50 units, the red section is about 30/32, so mimicking the flag ratio of 3x5. Unfortunately, I do not have the answer to this either.
